Junagadh: A leopard today killed an old man sleeping in the open passage area of his home in Nani Pindakhai village close to Visavadar range of Gir forests in Junagadh district of Gujarat, a forest official said.

CCF D T Vasavada said that the leopard attacked and killed Valabhai M Maru (60).

He said that attempts were on to nab the killer beast.

‘The forest department has also appealed all the people living in areas close to Leopard populated forests nearby to not to sleep in open and also not to throw leftover or wasted non-veg food items as it attracts wild animals’, he said.
