Tana Riri classical music mahotav at Vadnagar to be held this year on 6-7 November

Vadnagar: Tana Riri mahotsav which is organized every year at North Gujarat town Vadnagar by the Government of Gujarat this year will take place during 6-7 November.
Ashwini Bhinde Deshpande and Piyu Sarkhel will be presented Tana Riri award on the first day of mahotsav. Five awardee artists will present classical vocal on the first day. In addition to this, Anuradha Pondwal, Dr. Vachhrajani, Gargi Vora and Bhakti Joshi will also present classical vocal.
Also on the first day, 100 tabla players will play 48 types of tabla thaath in an hour and create world record. On the same day, 108 flute players will play 28 different raag and the songs of Vaishnavjan and national anthem in half and hour and create world record. Kala Guru Shital Barot will present 9 different rass in one minute and create record.
On the second day, Ronu Majumdar and group will play flute, tabla, pakhvaj jugalbandhi. Pandit Vishwajit Roy Chaudary will present Sarojvadan. Rahul Shivkumar Sharma will play Santur.
Tana Riri mahotsav is celebrated every year on Kartak Sud Nom. It was initiated by then Chief Minister and present Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in year 2010.
The award presented during this mahotav involved Rs. 5 lakh, tamra patra and shawl.
