ACB in South Gujarat nabs Circle officer cum Dy Mamlatdar taking bribe red handed

Navsari: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat Police today nabbed a circle officer cum Deputy Mamlatdar rank official from his office here taking bribe from a man for issuing a certificate regarding sale of a land.
Assistant Director of the ACB, D P Chudasama said that Dy Mamlatdar Vanrajsingh S Solanki (34) was caught red handed taking a bribe of Rs 25000. His computer operator A A Patel had yesterday taken Rs 10000 from the complainant.
The bribe was sought for issuing a certificate that an online application for entry of a land sale in to permanent record has been made.
Based on a secret complaint Solanki was nabbed red handed taking the bribe today in his office.
