Dwarka temple pujari, others held for gambling in police raid

Dwarka: Six including priest offering services at Dwarkadhish temple were held by police in a raid at Virmeshwar nagar of Dwarka town on Monday. Police recovered Rs. 52,000 cash.
Police had received information that one Sanjay Rameshchandra had rented a unit for gambling activity on the third floor in Virmeshwarnagar based house.
Accordingly, the police team conducted raid and held Jayesh Kishor Thakrar, a priest in Dwarkadhish temple and also a member of Dwarka municipality along with Sanjay Rameshchandra, Ramesh Chauhan, Jaysukh alias Dhamo Dasani, Ketan Vyas, Narendra Vayda and others.
