Gandhinagar: Parts of Saurashtra today saw light rain even as more spells of such non-seasonal rain for tomorrow and the day after have been forecast by the met department under the influence of a well marked low pressure area in the South East Arabian sea which is likely to concentrate in to a depression in the next 24 hours.

According to the met bulletin of this evening sea would remain rough and warning Signal number one has also been hoisted on all the ports including Navlakhi, Pipavav and Jafrabad ports. Parts of Junagadh district including Keshod, Maliya Hatina etc saw light rain today. However no fishermen warning has been issued for Gujarat coast.

According to the bulletin the detailed synoptic situation, warnings and rain related forecast are as follows- SYNOPTIC SITUATION: The Well Marked Low pressure area over Southeast Arabian Sea and adjoining areas of Eastcentral Arabian Sea & Lakshadweep area persists. It is very likely to concentrate into a Depression during next 24 hours.

FORECAST FOR MINIMUM TEMPERATURE-: No large change in minimum temperature over the region during next 2-3 days very likely.

Light rain very likely at isolated places in the districts of Saurashtra namely Junagadh, Gir Somnath, Porbandar, Dwarka and in Diu.
