Hyderabad rape accused encounter: Gujarat widely welcomes it, Industrialist announces Rs 1 lakh reward for police

Gandhinagar: The encounter of the four accused of the sensational rape incident of a lady doctor in Hyderabad has been widely welcomed in Gujarat with both Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Leader of Opposition Paresh Dhanani appreciating it.
People at several places including Ahmedabad burst fire-crackers to express their happiness.
An Industrialist in Mahuva town of Bhavnagar district went on to announce a reward of Rs 1 lakh for the Hyderabad police.
Talking to newsmen CM Rupani said that he got the news of encounter this morning. The whole nation was naturally angered at the rape incident and the encounter was a reply of sorts to that anger.

LoP in Gujarat Assembly and Congress MLA Paresh Dhanani said that the whole country has welcomed the encounter. ‘It was like they got the punishment for their act earlier than they would have otherwise got,’ he said.
Minister of State for home Pradipsinh Jadeja said that the police in Hyderabad had taken a step according to the situation.
Meanwhile in a video message issued by a local Industrialist and local BJP leader Rajbha Gohil in Mahuva of Bhavnagar he has announced to give a reward of Rs 1 lakh to the Hyderabad police. ‘ Today I feel proud of the police of our country. The Hyderabad police has given honour to the girls and women of this country. I will myself go to Hyderabad to hand over Rs 1 lakh reward to the police there,’ he said.
