Godhara: The Panchmahal District Co.Operative Milk Producers’ Union Ltd popularly known as Panchamrut Dairy, one of the 18 dairies of Gujarat associated with brand Amul, has announced to increase its milk procurement prices by Rs 10 per kg fat with effect from December 21.

General Manager of the dairy Yusuf I Pathan today said that with the increase the procurement price would go up from existing Rs 690 per kg fat to Rs 700 per kg fat.

He said that to promote the good quality buffalo milk an additional Rs 20 per kg fat would be paid for A grade buffalo milk ie Rs 720 per kg fat.

He said that more than 3 lakh milk producers of three districts Panchmahal, Dahod and Mahisagar were associated with the Panchamrut Dairy which on an average procures more than 9.6 lakh liters of milk everyday.
