Vadodara police book three over appeal to boycott CAA supporting doctors

Vadodara: Cyber crime branch of Vadodara police has booked three including Zuber Goplani, Chairman of Minority Development and Protection Foundation under sections 143(C), 505 and 114 over an appeal to boycott 12 doctors who were supporting Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and National Register of Citizenship (NRC).
Goplani, Sagir Ahmed Abdul Gani Ansari (Karishma Park, Tandalja) and Muhammad Shoeb Muhammed Ali Kadiwala (Moti Vhorvad, Vadi) are accused off issuing and making an appeal on social media to boycott 12 specific doctors who had supported CAA and NRC. A ist was circulated in social media with the names, degree and locations of these doctors who were from Vadodara, Borsad and Halol.
It is learnt that police asked Gopalni to come and give a statement, however Goplani claimed he was in Mumbai.
