MTV Roadies fame fitness professional files complaint against Surat based Woop Trampoline Park operators for injuries

Surat: Shweta Mehta, a Haryana based fitness professional who attracted fame through her participation in M TV Rodies has filed complaint against the operators of Surat based Woop Trampoline adventure park for injuries she suffered here.

Shweta has filed Zero FIR in Fatehabad police station in Haryana following which Dumas police in Surat has started investigation.

It is learnt that Sweta had visited Woop Trampoline in Surat around three months ago. Trampoline park is situation in Bhimpore area of Surat. Shweta said she was insisted to jump from a Woop jump tower by the owners of park. During her jump, sponge blocks unsettled due to which she suffered serious injuries. She had seven fractures in neck, and serious damage in three spine bones.

Shweta had visited Surat in the month of September this year for promotion photo shoot of Alpino bread. Marketing person Saurabh who works with Alpino, introduced her with Kapil Nandwani, Rajat Mahendra and Indra Puniyani who are associated with Woop trampoline park. She visited the park on September 6. She said she was pressurized to try a Woop jump in the park. She said she had denied to try a jump as the park was yet to be inaugurated and proper safety provisions were lacking. However due to repeated insisting of park operators, she tried a jump. Her head was hit strongly with the surface and tissues of her neck suffered serious damage. She was taken in nearby private hospital first and later shifted to her place.

Shweta is doing well now and back to normal.
