Ambaji: Danta – Ambaji highway four lane conversion work is underway. While initially the road was declared closed for traffic for the month of December, now the closure has been extended to entire month of January, as per a new notification issued by district collector of Banaskantha.

Alternative route has been given on Danta – Kanabiyavas – Kuvarsi – Boradiya – Beda – Hathipagla – Sanali – Hadad, Machkoda – Ganapipli – Chikhla – Ambaji highway.

Due to frequent accidents at Trishuliya Ghat turn on Ambaji – Dant route, the government had decided to order some corrective work of four lane road widening and 4 ft high, 23 meter long protection wall construction.
