Dr. Subramanian Swamy to deliver special lecture at Indus University in Gujarat

Ahmedabad: Eminent Politician, Economist, Author and Thinker, Dr. Subramanian Swamy will deliver a lecture on the topic ‘Who Are We: A Quest for National Identity’ followed by an interactive session at Indus University, Ahmedabad on 10th January from 11:00 am to 01:00 pm. Belgian Indologist Dr. Koenraad Elst, Cardiologist Dr. Tejas Patel and Industrialist Shri Prakash Jalan will be the special guests in this program.
‘Who Are We?’ – this question is the first step in search for an Indian identity. Since India’s Independence in 1947, Indians have been grappling with this question, but they have not yet arrived at a definite answer. This represents India’s identity crisis. This Talk is an attempt to seek and rediscover the foundation for India’s identity. Having absolute clarity about one’s past is necessary to create a better future. This Talk is one step in that direction.
A former Cabinet Minister, Dr. Swamy is a Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha. Before joining politics, he has worked as a professor at Harvard and IIT, Delhi. He is a recipient of a doctoral degree in Economics from Harvard University.
