Cold-wave returns in parts of Gujarat, met also issues warning for its continuation during next 4 days

Gandhinagar: Cold-wave today made a return in parts of Gujarat due to heavy snowfall in Northern states causing sudden dip in mercury which went below 10 °C at at-least ten places across the state and Naliya in Kutch remaining coldest at 6 °C .
The met has also made forecast about continuing of cold wave and issued related warning for the coming four days for parts the western state.
Capital city of Gandhinagar today saw the minimum temperature of 7.7 °C to remain second coldest. Keshod at 8 °C was third in this regard while Kandla Airport and Rajkot at a common 8.4 °C were fourth and Ahmedabad at 9 °C was at fifth place.
Bhuj and Amreli recorded 9.4 °C and Deesa 9.8 °C.
In Ahmedabad the maximum at 25.3°C was 2.4°C and minimum at 09.0°C was 3.2°C below normal.
According to the met bulletin issued by IMD center Ahmedabad this evening no large change in minimum temperature during next 48 hours, thereafter gradual fall by 2-3° C over Gujarat region was very likely.
