3 nabbed by crime branch in connection with recovery of mobile phones from prisoners of Vadodara central jail

Vadodara: The crime branch of Vadodara police has nabbed three people in connection with sending mobile phone to two prisoners of the central jail here.
Police today said that two mobile phones were seized from two prisoners in the jail on November 6 during a sudden raid by a squad.
Later a case under section 188 of the IPC and 42,43 and 45 of the Prison Act was lodged in this connection. The crime branch after investigation nabbed one Rashid Saiyad (35), Murtaja Saiyad (28) both resident of Harankhana road area in the city and Yogendra Mahida (22), resident of Chhani area in the city in this connection.
