Likelihood of light non-seasonal rain in parts of Saurashtra and Central Gujarat on January 27, 28: IMD Director
January 25, 2020
Ahmedabad: The cloudy to partly cloudy weather in Ahmedabad and other places in Gujarat today was likely to persist for a few days with the likelihood of light non-seasonal rain in parts of Saurashtra and central Gujarat on January 27 and 28, IMD center Director here, Jayanta Sarkar said today.
Sarkar said that the cloudy weather was result of some changes in atmospheric conditions.
‘On January 27 there was some likelihood of light rain in parts of Porbandar, Rajkot and Dwarka districts while on January 28 it was likely in parts of Vadodara,’ he said.
‘It would be because of the presence of two systems around Gujarat. The one cyclonic circulation would be there over Rajasthan and one trough along North Central Maharashtra,’ he said.
Sarkar also said that temperatures across the state were going to rise by 2 to 3 degree Celsius in next couple of days.
