ABVP wins Central University of Gujarat elections consecutively for 2nd time

Vadodara: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)’s student wing organization Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has won elections of Central University of Gujarat for consecutive 2nd time, staid a statement issued by ABVP today.
‘Elections were held in Central University of Gujarat (CUG) today for council of students, in which, The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) won the post of Convenor, Co-Convenor and, Office Secretary with whopping lead,’ the statement said adding that, ‘for the post of Convenor in the Students’ council, ABVP’s Varun Pratap defeated left wing alliance’s Prachi Lokhande by a margin of 10 votes, while for the post of Co-Convenor, ABVP’s Jay Jani won against left alliance’s Mohammad Ashraf by 12 votes. For the post of Office Secretary, ABVP’s Avnish Kumar defeated Left wing candidate Chitranjan Kumar by a margin of 8 votes.’
‘In Students’ Council, Kartik Dwivedi (Applied Chemistry), Varun Pratap Sinh (Neno Science), Jay Kumar Jani (Life Science) Divyanshu Yadav (Centre for Diaspora), Padmaraj Bhatt (Chemical Science) registered victory as member of Students’ Council from ABVP,’ the statement further said.
ABVP Gujarat’s State Secretary Himalaysinh Zala said that, ABVP has always registered victory in CUG Elections, this time also, ABVP has registered victory on three main posts with a majority. Before this, ABVP had also registered one sided victory in ICC Committee in CUG.
