Four tribal MPs from Gujarat meet PM, demand removal of Rabari, Charan, Bharwad castes from ST list

New Delhi: A group of Schedule Tribe members of Lok Sabha elected from Gujarat today called on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in New Delhi and made representation over their demand to remove Rabari, Charan and Bharwad castes from the list of Schedule Tribes. Jashwant Bhabhor, Gita Rathwa, Prabhu Vasava and Mansukh Vasava were among those who called Prime Minister. According to Gita Rathwa, the Prime Minister in his response said that the matter will be discussed with Gujarat government.
