Ahwa: Presented in the video above are glimpses of Dang Darbar festival this year at district capital Ahwa in South Gujarat. Dang Darbar is celebrated ahead of Holi since 1947 to felicitate erstwhile 5 recognized rulers of tribal populated Dang district for their contribution in saving forsts. 5 Rajvi, 9 Nayaks and 465 Bhaubandh were in this year’s edition of Dang Darbar presented Rs. 28.04 lakh as Saliyana (Privy Purse).
