Junagadh:A lioness today attacked and injured a man in Shedhaya village of Kodinar Taluka in Gir Somnath district of Gujarat.

CCF D T Vasavada said that the lioness attacked Rambhai Rajabhai Bheda in the village Shedhaya at around 0715 am this morning while he was out to attend the nature’s call.
He said that the village was close-by to the Jamvala range and Ghatvad round of the Gir forests.

Rambhai with injuries on the back has been admitted to Kodinar hospital.
