Surat: The Government of India has banned export of masks and medical suits.
In a video conference session with Surat district collector and others, Textile ministry under secretary GK Rajnish said textile manufactures who are into production of non woven fabrics will need to give daily data of sell of masks and suits. The government will take legal action if masks and suits are sold to companies other than HLL at higher cost.
It’s worth noting that the government has made HLL a nodal agency for sell of such items, sensitive in current situation of coronavirus spread.
The companies into production of woven fabrics and technical textile will need to give data to chamber of commerce.
In response to large number of complains being received about high cost of N95/ 2 and 3 layer masks and medical suits by traders, the central government has made HLL a nodal agency.
HLL Lifecare Limited is an Indian healthcare product manufacturing company based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. It is a Government of India-owned corporation.
