Closure of Amul’s milk chilling centre a fake news: RS Sodhi

Anand: Managing Director of Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) ltd, known for its AMUL brand has clarified that there’s no truth in fake news spread by somebody on social media that Amul’s chilling centre or procurement activities are going to close down.
Sodhi said, ‘rather we are procuring more’.
‘It seems somebody spreading this news which is fake and none of our milk chilling centre or procurement activities are going to close down , Rather we are procuring more,’ Sodhi tweeted.
A post circulating on the social media is creating panic among Amul customers and milk producers by claiming that milk procurement and chilling centres are to be shut.
