Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today in his video address on Facebook gave example of a youth in Gandhinagar who returned from Dubai recently and infected an old lady in own family with coronavirus.

Rupani said, a youth in Gandhinagar who returned from Dubai was infected by Covid19. He didn’t maintain proper self quarantine and social distance, as a result of which, unfortunately 80-year old lady in same family is infected. The old lady is being treated by the State government in a hospital. It’s a mistake of that youth who didn’t take instructions of self-quarantine and social distancing seriously.

CM with folded hands appealed that social distancing and home-quarantine instructions must be followed properly.

CM also appealed to observe JantaCurfew even post 9 pm today. He said: Jantacurfew call has been given for 7 am to 9 pm because these are generally hours when most people move out, but that doesn’t mean that you step out of post 9 pm. No, you should stay at home after that also. The word Curfew in JantaCurfew means Care For You.
