Free food service for senior citizens and homeless announced in 8 cities of Gujarat

Gandhinagar: Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani today has taken a decision to provide delivery of foods at free of cost at their door step in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Bhavnagar, Junagadh and Gandhinagar cities.
The home deliveries of foods to such people will be provided by the Municipal Administration in coordination and cooperation with the NGOs in all these eight municipal corporations.
For this purpose, Rupani has appointed a contact officer in each of these eight Municipal Corporations. They are: Mr. Prashant Pandya, Ahmedabad, Helpline Number – 155303, Mr. R. C. Rupani also directed these officials to coordinate the supply of foods and other essential necessities to these senior citizens and homeless and helpless people.
