Rajpipla: A person has been booked for his comments against Bollywood film actor Shah Rukh Khan in a whatsapp group.

As per the FIR filed by Crime BranchSub Inspector Chimanlal Gamit, group admin Dipak Jagtap had created a whatsapp group namely All News Narmada Updates. This Whatsapp group has district collector, district police superintendent, other district officials, journalists and leaders of Hindu and Muslim communities as members. Accused Jignesh Vasava had also joined this group. A member of this group Anirudhsinh Gohil had posted a video appeal of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan in which the actor appeals the people of Dubai to stay inside the homes. Reacting to this post, accused Jignesh Vasava posted a message using abusive language and opined that the actor who lives in India should be kicked out of the country for his prayers for people of Dubai. In view of the nature of this message which can provoke communal hatred, the police has booked Vasava under IPC sections 294, 153(C), 295(C) and Information Act section 67.
