Police Inspector suspended for playing Garba without maintaining social distancing

Bopal: Police Inspector of Bopal police station has been suspended after State Director General of Police (DGP) took note of a viral video in which Police Inspector AM Brahmbhatt was seen playing Garba with other police men in a residential township Safal Parisar in Bopal area of Ahmedabad.
For last few days, police organize entertainment programmes that can be enjoyed by people in residential area sitting in their own balcony. One such event was organized by Bopal Police in Safal Parisar township. A lady singer was roped in to sing on mic in open in the middle of township residents. Only police men were present around the singer in a group.
Viral video clearly show that police staff had not maintain social distancing. They were standing and taking Garba dance steps close to one another. Some of cops taking steps on Garba songs were wearing masks and hand gloves.
