Drones of Fire Brigade to spray disinfectant in cluster areas

Ahmedabad: The Amdavad Fire & Emergency Services (AFES) of Amdavad Municipal Corporation will spray disinfectant in cluster areas (hotspots) of city with special drones. A trial of this exercise was conducted at AMC headquarters on Tuesday morning. In first phase, three drones are being used.
According to Municipal Commissioner Vijay Nehra, hotspot areas are barricaded and therefore spraying of disinfectant from sky is the way.
The areas declared as hotspots in the city are Dhruvnagar and Rasulabad belt of Danilimda area, Bapunagar-Rakhial belt, Hirabag pocket in Ambawadi area, Chamadiavas in Jamalpur area, Matavadi ni Pol in Dariyapur, Malekshah ni Masjid in Dariyapur and Crystal Flat in Jamalpur.
