Sarangpur Hanuman Mandir dharmshala is now a 100-bed hospital to fight Coronavirus

Gandhinagar: Like always, Hindu religious organizations in Gujarat are on forefront to offer their services during ongoing Covid19 pandemic.
One of many examples is KashtBhanjan Hanuman Mandir of Sarangpur in Botad district.
A 100-bed, 50-room hospital with 10 ICU beds has been set up at Sarangpur KashtBhanjan Hanuman Mandir run Atithi Gruh. Thanks to full cooperation and help extended by Mandir, the administration could set up a district level dedicated hospital to fight coronavirus here within 24 hours.
The hospital, converted from a dharmshala of Hanuman mandir has facilities such as OPD, doctors’ room, nursing staff room, central oxygen line supply, 05 ventilators, 45 isolation rooms, ICU beds, non-Covid area, dedicated elevator, attached bathroom/toilet, CCTV vigil, buzzer system, audio system and more.
In total 50 medical, para-medical staff will serve the patients in this hospital.
At present there’s no patient.
Apart from offering its dharmshala for Covid19 hospital, KashtBhanjan Hanuman mandir has been offering services such as shelter and food for needy and more.
Many Hindu religious organizations are involved in offering such services. The Government of Gujarat has received crores of Rupees of fund from Hindu religious organizations for fight against Covid19.
