Evening briefing:

Gandhinagar: Gujarat has now 262 cases of Covid19 with highest 142 in Ahmedabad followed by Surat 24, Vadodara 22, Bhavnagar 18 and Rajkot and Gandhinagar 13 each and Patan 12. There are 215 active cases.The results of 358 samples are pending.

Morning bulletin:

Gandhinagar: Total 55 new cases of Covid19 have been detected since last evening, said Principal Secretary, Health, Govt of Gujarat in her morning briefing today. There has been one death of 48(m) in SVP hospital, Amdavad since last evening. The patient was with comorbid condition. There has been one discharge of a male(27) patient in Amdavad rural area after full recovery. In total there are 241 cases so far in Gujarat of which 155 are active patients in Gujarat. Of them 2 are critical and on ventilator support while 153 are stable. There have been total 26 discharges of Covid19 patients so far in the State.

Principal Secretary, Health said, most cases are detected from existing hotspot areas of Danilimda, Astodia, Ghodasar, Rander, Adajan. Out of 1788 tests, 55 turned positive, which shows that percentage is around 5% which was the case right from beginning in Gujarat.
