Gujarat govt lifts ban on Fishing in sea and related business activities

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat today said it has lifted ban over fishing in sea. With this, the fishermen will be able to venture into the sea for fishing. Issuance of token for this purpose has already started, the Gujarat government note said. The State government has also lifted ban on processing, packaging, cold chain maintenance and transportation related to fishing business, said Ashwani Kumar, Secretary in Chief Minister’s office.
