6887 contacts under quarantine given AYUSH medicines; none detected Covid19 positive

Gandhinagar: As many as 6,887 asymptomatic contacts of Coronavirus patients in 98 quarantine centres were given Ayurvedic(to 5,102 persons) and Homeopathic(to 1,688 persons) medicines with their consent,to strengthen their immunity as per AYUSH ministry suggested methods. Post that when tested for Covid19, none of them was found Covid19 positive, Principal Secretary of Health, Government of Gujarat informed the media persons today in her morning briefing.
