Wrong self assessment data entered in Aarogya Setu app triggers rumours in green zone district Junagadh
May 02, 2020
Junagadh: District Collector of Junagadh, Dr. Sourabh Pardhi today warned those who feed wrong detail in Aarogya Setu app and declare self as Covid19 positive when actually they are not.
“Lot of people have messaged that positive Covid19 cases appear in nearby areas in Aarogya Setu app. I want to make it clear that there’s no positive case in Junagadh district. Aarogya Setu app is self assessment app. People have to feed their own details. Some people by mistake or deliberately enter wrong self assessment data which is a crime also. This app is for alert of positive case, but there’s no positive case in Junagadh district. I appeal people to enter correct details in Aarogya Setu app so that there’s no panic among people.”
In his tweet, Pardhi said: Sincere request to everyone for sharing correct self-assessment information in Aarogyasetu App. Rumours floating around about positive case is completely baseless. Please don’t fall prey to it. Don’t panic. Be responsible.
My appeal to every citizen to be responsible and share only correct information in #AarogyaSetuApp to avoid unnecessary panic. @GujHFWDept pic.twitter.com/Waum31VT8D
