Flights from five countries to arrive in Gujarat carrying stranded Indians during 7-13 May

New Delhi: As many as 1100 stranded persons will be brought back to Gujarat from five countries in the first week of global evacuation process which is starting from from 7th May 2020.
As per the details received from union Civil Aviation ministry, SVPI airport in Ahmedabad will witness arrival of flights from Philippines (Manila), Kuwait (Kuwait City) , Singapore (Singapore), United kingdom (London) and United States (New York) on day 1(Philippines), 2(Singapore), 4(USA), 5(UK) and 6(Kuwait) of the first week of evacuation process initiated by the Government.

AI1343 Singapore to SVPI Ahmedabad – 250 passengers
New York to Ahmedabad via Mumbai – 3oo passengers
AI 1172 LHR (London) to Ahmdaabad – 250 passengers
AI 1990 Kuwait to Ahmedabad – 200 passengers
In all the Government will fly 64 commercial flights from May 7th to May 13 to get back stranded Indian citizens from countries abroad.
