Junagadh: Junagadh district which has been declared green district due to absence of even a single Covid19 positive case so far, has now risk to lose green status to orange, as two Covid19 cases have been detected in Bhesan based Community Health Centre of the district.

According to District Development Officer (DDO) of Junagadh district, Shri Praveen Chaudhary, two positive Covid19 cases have been detected at Bhesan CHC. Tracing of all contacts is underway. Samples of high risk contacts will be collected while other contacts are being quarantined.

District Collector Pardhi in his tweet said,’Junagadh receives two positive COVID-19 cases. A CHC doctor and his peon tested positive. Contact tracing is on. Don’t speculate and spread any rumours. Will share the further details. All the more reasons to be cautious now.’
