Surat: 250 teams of Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) will do door to door surveillance from tomorrow in Covid19 affected Limbayat zone.

SMC is for the first time using APX method.

The houses where primary symptoms of cold, fever, coughing, diarrhea etc found will be marked with ‘A’ sign.

The houses where old age persons or those with co-morbid condition are inside will be marked with ‘P’ sign.

In absence of both these parameters, the houses will be marked with ‘X’ sign.

Limbayat zone will be as per a strategy treated like an island with only one entry-exit point in order to do screening of those entering and leaving the zone.
