Sindhubhavan flyover on SG highway to be ready in August, Sanand and Vaisnodevi in October: Nitin

Ahmedabad: Road and Building minister Nitin Patel today visited the construction site of Sindhu Bhavan cross roads flyover at SG Highway here and said the flyover will be ready for traffic by the end of the month of August this year.
Patel said the same contractor is building a flyover in Sanand which shall be completed in the month of October. The other flyover at Vaishnodevi circle will be completed by the end of the month of October this year.
Patel said contractors have resumed works after Central government’s green signal.
‘Public Works Department (PWD) under me has more than 300 major works on hand worth Rs. 8 to 10,000 crore. To keep the migrant labourers intact with them was a major issue for contractors. While some works have been resumed, some others will be resume soon,’ Patel said.
Patel said a major maintenance work of Saurashtra – Kutch branch canal from Kadi will be started after reducing the level of water.
