Gujarat College/University exams from June 25; Merit Based Progression scheme if Covid19 situation prevails

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has as per the guidelines of UGC, taken a decision to start Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses exams of university and colleges from June 25. Exam duration will be two hours instead of three hours. If required the exams will be conducted in multiple shifts. The exams will be conducted at taluka and local level at examination centres. 50% marks will be given through internal assessment while 50% will be given on the basis of previous semester in the exams of intermediate semester 2,4,6 if Covid19 situation prevail and social distancing related guidelines can not be implemented. Such scheme will be called Merit Based Progression.
