Gandhinagar:Total number of Covid19 cases in Gujarat so far is 15,944 including 980 deaths and 8,609 discharges of patients from hospitals after full recovery, as per the figures released by the State government.

Out of total cases of Gujarat, 11,597 are from Ahmedabad where 798 persons have died as per the State government figures.

Surat has 1510 cases so far followed by 981 in Vadodara, 249 in Gandhinagar and 120 in Bhavnagar.

Out of total 15,575 patients, 6,355 are active cases including 68 on ventilator support as per the government data released.

In last 24 hours, 372 new cases have been detected, 20 persons have died and 608 are discharged after full recovery.

Of 372 cases detected in last 24 hours, 253 are from Ahmedabad.
