Gujarat HC orders 10% cut in the rate fixed for Covid19 treatment in private hospitals

Ahmedabad: Gujarat High Court has ordered 5% cut in ICU (Intensive Care Unit) charges and 10% cut in general ward charges of Covid19 treatment in private hospitals. A lawyer representing the state government told the court that testings for Covid19 take place in the Sate as per the guidelines of ICMR. The High Court ordered ICMR to join as a party in this case. Regarding the migrant labourers issue, the High Court has not given any direction to the State government as the matter is pending in the Supreme Court. The bench of Chief Justice Vikramnath and Justice JB Pardiwala did hearing in this suo moto plea.
