Gandhinagar: 35 persons succumbed to Covid-19 infection, 344 Covid patients were discharged and returned to home and 510 new Covid-19 cases were detected in last 24 hours as per the data released this evening by the Government of Gujarat.

The Government said, the state witnessed total 2,39,911 Covid-19 tests so far. Among 35 persons who died in last 24 hours, 30 were from Ahmedabad, 2 from Surat and 1 each from Anand, Bhavnagar and Surendranagar. Among new detected 510 cases, highest 324 were from Ahmedabad, followed by 67 in Surat, 21 in Gandhinagar and 45 in Vadodara.

Gujarat has so far witnessed deaths of total 1190 Covid patients. Out of total 4918 active cases,63 are critical and on ventilator support while 4855 are stable. 13,011 have been discharged after recovery. Total number of cases detected in Gujarat including those discharged, died and those under treatment so far is 19,119.
