Gujarat Covid-19 situation in figures

Gandhinagar: 33 persons succumbed to Covid-19 infection, 455 Covid patients were discharged and returned to home and 492 new Covid-19 cases were detected in last 24 hours as per the data released this evening by the Government of Gujarat.
The Government said, the state witnessed total 2,33,921 Covid-19 tests so far. Among 33 persons who died in last 24 hours, 28 were from Ahmedabad, and 1 each from Botad, Kutch, Gandhinagar, Patan and Valsad. Among new detected 492 cases, highest 291 were from Ahmedabad, followed by 81 in Surat, 21 in Gandhinagar and 39 in Vadodara.
Gujarat has so far witnessed deaths of total 1155 Covid patients. Out of total 4779 active cases,68 are critical and on ventilator support while 4711 are stable. 12,667 have been discharged after recovery. Total number of cases detected in Gujarat including those discharged, died and those under treatment so far is 18601.
