In pictures: Somnath Mandir reopens for visitors

Somnath: Somnath temple and many other temples across Gujarat have reopened today morning for visitors after over two months period of lockdown.
Shri Somnath Trust has advised visitors to pay visit post June 12 after online booking in available slot. Shri Somnath Trust had yesterday also issued broad guideline for visitors:
– Wearing mask is compulsory
– Round markings need to be followed when standing in queue
– Entry only through sanitization arrangement
– Railing or any other place in the temple must not be touched
– Those above 65 or below 10 age can’t be brought in
– Dandvat pranam not allowed
– Immediate exit from the temple after darshan
– A link of slots to be put on www.Somnath.org website from June 12. One needs to do online booking before visiting the temple for darshan
– Mandir is going to stay open during 7.30 to 11.30 am and 12.30 to 6.30 pm only
– No entry for visitors is allowed during aarti sessions
