Gandhinagar: 580 new Covid-19 cases have been detected in Gujarat in last 24 hours. 655 Covid patients recovered in this period which also saw 25 deaths including 20 in Ahmedabad, 3 in Surat and 1 each in Arvalli and Chhota Udepur died of Covid.

With this, the total number of deaths in the State due to Covid19 is up at 1,664. The State has witnessed discharge of total 19,357 Covid patients. Total number of cases have been 27,317.

Out of new 580 cases, 273 are from Ahmedabad while 176 are from Surat, 41 from Vadodara, 15 from Gandhinagar and 10 from Bharuch among more cases at other places.

There are total 6296 active Covid19 cases in the state including 6237 stable and 59 critical patients.
