Vadodara: Gujarat’s third largest city Vadodara found mention in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat radio address today. The Prime Minister in his Mann Ki Baat address admired a movement to install rain water harvesting system across the schools in Vadodara. PM Modi termed this as inspiring example. He said the district administration and locals in Vadodara ran an interesting movement under which today in Vadoara 1,000 schools are having rain water harvesting. As per an estimate, average 10 crore litre water is being saved from going to wastage.
