Gandhinagar: Gujarat has recorded 620 new Covid19 cases in the span of 24 hours as per the latest bulletin released by State health department. 422 Covid19 patients recovered from infection in this same period. 20 persons including 9 in AMC area and 4 in SMC area died of Covid19 infection in this period.

Out of new 620 cases, 183 are from SMC area followed by 182 in AMC area. With this, Surat has for the first time surpassed Ahmedabad in daily total number of new Covid19 cases.

Gujarat has 6,928 active Covid19 patients including 71 who are critical and on ventilator support as per the bulletin.

The State has so far witnessed 23,670 discharge and 1,848 deaths on account of Covid19. Total number of Covid19 cases so far have been 32,446.
