Gandhinagar: Gujarat has recorded highest-ever daily 712 Covid-19 cases in 24-hour period as per the latest bulletin released by State health department. 473 Covid patients have recovered during this period as per the bulletin which also informed that 21 persons died of Covid19 infection includingg 9 in Ahmedabad city, 4 each in Surat and Rajkot cities among others.

As per the bulletin, there are 8,057 active cases of Covid19 infection in the state including 68 critical cases who are on ventilator support.

The State has so far witnessed 1927 deaths on account of Covid19 and 25,414 discharges after recovery. Total number of cases so far in the State have been 35,398.
