Stemcell and Kidney hospitals in Surat, once constructed, will be used as Covid hospitals

Surat: On a visit to Surat in connection with increased number of Covid-19 cases in the city, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today said that two under-construction hospitals here will be made operational as dedicated Covid hospitals once the construction is completed. While 800-bed kidney hospital will be made operational as covid hospital in next one month period, stem cell hospital will be made operational as covid hospital in next 10 days. The State government will give Rs. 100 crore for this. Surat will also be given 200 additional number of ventilators by Sunday. 30 Dhanvantari Raths will be moved in Surat rural areas in addition to 145 Raths already active in Surat city.
