ACB nabs RTO clerk red-handed receiving bribe in a decoy trap in Central Gujarat

Vadodara: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has nabbed a senior clerk of Godhra RTO for seeking bribe of Rs. 100 to Rs. 200 from an applicant per each form for transfer of names in RC book. A complainant had filed online application for transfer of ownership of vehicle and had paid applicable fees for the same. He was given appointment for visit to RTO on July 15. Accused Punam Bhoi, a senior clerk, class-3 employee of RTO, was caught by ACB Inspector KV Lakod red handed when Bhoi demanded and received Rs. 400 bribe for transfers in three forms, from a complainant, in a decoy trap.
