Ahmedabad: Gujarat Technological University (GTU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Toyota Tsusho company of Japan for introduction and collaboration in diploma courses in manufacturing technology and automobile and other short term courses. MoU was singed by GTU registrar KN Khai and Techno Trends Auto Park Pvt Ltd (TAP) Japan’s Managing Director Tomohiro Yama. From next academic year, 160 students will be given free admission in four batches of diploma in manufacturing technology. The students in this course will also be given stipend during practical portion of study. Provision has also been made for placement in various foreign companies.
