AMC to introduce door to door waste collection in Bopal – Ghuma, other newly merged areas

Ahmedabad: There’s good newsfor newly merged areas of Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) such as Bopal, Ghuma, Chiloda, Naroda and Kathwada. The AMC has today decided to start door to door waste collection in these areas. The Standing Committee meeting today took decision in this regard. With this, door to dump and gate to dump waste collection be facilitated by AMC in these newly merged areas.
AMC in its meeting today also OKayed construction of 2,479 affordable housing units for Rs. 144.90 crore in Chiloda-Naroda, Saijpur-Bogha and Makarba areas.
AMC also approved auction cum tender sell of 87 shops and offices constructed in Gota based EWS housing scheme.
The meeting of Standing Committee also approved purchase of Yellow Fever vaccine from Kasauli.
The meeting decided to cancel Lok Manya Tilak Trophy competition for Ganesh Utsavs in view of Covid-19 situation.
