Dhoni shares letter he received from PM Modi after announcement of retirement

New Delhi: Cricket legend Mahendra Singh Dhoni who recently announced his retirement from international cricket received Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s letter. Dhoni shared this letter on micro blogging platform Twitter and said, ‘An Artist, Soldier and Sportsperson what they crave for is appreciation, that their hard work and sacrifice is getting noticed and appreciated by everyone. Thanks Prime Minister Narendra Modi for your appreciation and good wishes.’
PM has in his letter to Dhoni said, “Your dependability in tough situations and your style of finishing matches, particularly the 2011 World Cup Final, will forever be etched in the public memory for generations…”
