Gandhinagar: Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) will start operating Air Conditioned and Volvo luxury buses from August 22 after five-month long Covid-19 linked suspension of services. The first phase will see resumption of operations of 40 of total 189 AC and Volvo buses.

While 17 Volvo ST buses will leave Ahmedabad for Vadodara (from Naherunagar), Rajkot and Navsari (from Naherunagar), 13 AC sitter buses will leave Ahmeadbad for Deesa, Bhavnagar, Morbi and leave Gandhinagar for Amreli. 10 AC slipper buses will also resume operations to Dwarka, Somnath, Diu and Bhuj from Gandhinagar and to Vadodara from Bhuj. It’s worth noting that suspension of all GSRTC and private buses to and from Covid19-hit Surat city is over and operations have resumed from today. DeshGujarat
